For whatever reason, Fallout 4 has suddenly become almost unusable because while playing it will eventually get stuck loading forever. The slides continue to change, so it's not freezing. It just never gets back to the game. One time it loaded for 2 days straight. It's very inconsistent too. Sometimes it loads, sometimes it just takes a long time, sometimes it's super fast, sometimes it won't. Fallout 4 stuck on new game loading screen gif. When I start a new game itll load infinitely but the odd thing is that about 10-20 seconds in it makes a sound like Ive just picked up a chem in the game world and then wont stop loading after that. I've run into infinite loading screen several times on my PC, and it's easier to identify with my rig because I installed Fallout 4 to a Solid State drive (a place I'm fast traveling to usually loads up pretty fast). I have a bunch of mods installed, and I've always wondered if they're sometimes causing the problem. Ive already played Fallout 4 on my computer, but when i went to go back on and continue/load my current game, i get stuck in the loading screen forever. The still rotates and you can rotate it yourself, the text/tips cycles through, but it doesnt move on from that to the game.
